At Hennock, we take great pride and consideration of our children's social, emotional and mental health needs.
We have the support of the Link Academy Trust's Inclusion Team who run workshops throughout the year where children can openly discuss and explore their emotions and feelings in a safe and nurturing environment.
Along side that we also implement strategies within school to support pupils to ensure they feel safe, secure and happy.
We use a relational based approach focused on care, connection and belonging and we use the principles of Dan Siegel's hand brain to understand behaviour and support children when feeling strong emotions.
